Dear Little WitchA Poem by witchtalesA poem and prose from Mother Earth to her darlings.
Dear Little Witch,
I call to thee. Are you out there, under the tree? Do you exist in liminal space, beyond time, beyond rhyme, beyond reason or taste? The alder strong, the river flowing. Do you stop there and embrace their knowing? Little Witch, have you come along? We beckon you with sweets and with song. Do you hear our heart beating? Do you feel the deep pulse? Inside of your bones How it bends and it pulls? The magic surrounds you, the spirit within. Step into your power while the veil is thin. Little Witch, it's not over. It's time to join the fight. You are cloaked safe both day and night. The planets above you, a planet below. A place to rest your head, a blanket of snow. Witch, you belong. The crows know you well. Your magick is strong, your voice is a bell. Clear them away, with smoke and with sound, Until what remains Serves everyone around. Your heart is good, little Witch, your intentions are heard. Take a deep breath and please take my word. As you grow stronger Your power will awaken. Shifts will occur, Different paths taken. By design will you bend By accord will you shift. What needs to will end, this tower, a gift. Little Witch, you are the prophecy unfolding. Your eyes now open, Your roots grow deeper down. Envisioning the future as the here and the now.
