starless night

poem i

no, never turning back

not gonna think, no,

what can i do as black fog spread

i hear a shatter within myself,

unable to put this puzzle back together,

losing control, the fog, sheeted over more

of my sky,

my sky turned dark as hell,

sunlight in which evil clouds murdered,

fell,

fell from my sky,

no moon came up, no stars shone

but warm salty rain,

came from that starless night
