I see the theme from Romeo and Juliet connected with this writing. It is a fitting poem too as it feels like a gallant admittance to the reality of how love stays in a person's heart. Things and people change and end but sometimes the essence of something beautiful such as love just lingers for a very long time.

This hit home. I recently seperated from a 16year relationship and I to was brought from a girl to a woman through my special partner though our marriage was not to last more than 10years we are still forever friends
