The truth behind "a real man"

 

         It does not take a real man

         To do what has been done

         It does not take a real man

         To do what has begun

 

 

         To be a real man is to fight

         Not to be filled with fear and fright

         To be a real man is to gamble

         It is not to scramble

 

        

         To be a real man is to scan

         Not to go without a plan.

         To be a real man is to finish what has began

         To be a real man, is to be a broken man

This piece has a very powerful message, and has many different connotations to it. It was concise, vague yet descriptive enough.
Somewhere in the third stanza the rhythm/flow stumbled a bit, but it's nothing too drastic; just me being picky!
I enjoyed the piece, and I can't wait to read more into your story.
