i wrote this song a year or so ago,having in mind that true love waits

I don't know why the sky is blue

I don't even try to figure out you

You make me wonder if it will ever be

As my love just grows stronger

Won't there ever be a you and me?

            How will I ever know

A picnic in the park

A stroll by the oceans tide

A drive after dark

When will that day arrive

When will I forver be with you

I imagine this being sung . . . and I think it would be a magnificent song, with a little tweaking of the lyrics, here and there.

Although, as a poem, the message is clear and quite beautiful with hints of uncertainty and a lingering doubt.

Nonetheless, it's a beautiful poem.
