Written at 1 am in the morning when i couldnt get to sleep and there was a show on tv about pyro's @_@

Pyro

Burn
The flames engulf
The warmth scatters
Golden tails of orange and black lick the night
Charred remains
Crumpled dregs
Smoke, like curling waves of hair
Deep ravens twisting in the night

Burn
Brighten the night
Singe the Earth with a smear on her Face

Brilliant! Incredible inspiration for 1 am! The description floats between the heat of the fire and the blackness of the remains. Both eloquent and disturbing. Keep staying up late and writing!
