Losing Yourself

Losing Yourself

A Poem by GetTheHellOut

It is so hard to leave behind

all that you ever wanted out of life

everything that has been denied

when there is nothing more to keep you alive

As easy as it seems

this wounds will never heal

when you are losing yourself

it hurts with a pain beyond what's real

Becoming a shadow of what you once were

you'll never be forgiven always tormented

who you really are would be the one

from whom you'll be haunted by forever...

The value of a lesson depends entirely on the point of view. It is always a good thing to record our lessons so that we will never forget the worth. Great write.
