Sun Dried

Sun Dried

A Poem by Brandon Dunbar

Sun beating down

Glistening over the valley

With a never ending heat wave

When will it stop?

Another day

Nothing but the same

Sweat running from my brow

When will it go away?

Drying up the land

Leaving us in drought

Keeping everyone inside

Why won’t the sun go away?

For us folk in the Northeast seeing the sun out is a blessing........smile.......
