Another sequence of Dream Theater

Come one , come all
Dream theater has begun
For this night only
You'll soon feel the urge to run

As the doors start to open
And the crowd gets a peek
They had no idea of what's lurking
In this cruel game of hide n' seek

Smiles and dancing fill the room
Cares start to fade away
Music drowns out the cries
Things would forever change this day

Out from the shadows
A creature slowly appears
Dripping with blood on its fangs
Seems to be the epitome of fear

Crowd runs for the doors
Getting picked off one by one
It was at this moment I remembered
I am carrying a gun

Unholster my weapon
Fire a shot in the air
I've now got it's attention
I can feel it's evil glare

It starts to charge at me
With a full head of steam
As I start to pull the trigger
I wake up from the terrible dream

Stephen King would like this. The Monster, the lack of closure at the end allows for the monster to come back in another dream.
