Prologue

As I sat in the passenger seat and looked out my window. Small raindrops turning into bigger raindrops and they would slowly fall. I followed the droplets with my eyes and thought of all thats happened in the last few weeks.

Everything comes and goes. That is how the world works. You will be put on top of the world just to have it all taken away from you. One day, everything will fall apart.

I don't want anything else to fall apart. Next time, I don't think I'll have the strength to handle it. No, I'm sure that next time I won't have the strength to handle it.

This is my resolution. I won't let myself reach the top. Then nothing will fall apart.
That's the only way to go. I will follow the solitude. I will take in the cold. I will embrace the deafening silence.

I bet you can turn this into one sentence, one pure statement of intent.

Give it a go. There's a chance you might be able to really nail what this feeling is about, and that will be an excellent sentence to start with. The first sentence here is a little bit prosaic, and I don't think it suits the themes you start to develop in this short space.
