An ode to mediocrity

Written during a PTSD rehab stint.

 

I will not die an unlived life

Plans, deeds and schemes yet to be hatched

I’m hope I’m remembered like a comet,

Here in a moment and gone in a flash

Forever scarring the minds

Of those I’ve met

Needing to be remembered is something we all think about at some time.
All you can do is try to do good along the way so that we are remembered for the right things.

I don't know, I always enjoyed a level of infamy and think that being a (obviously non criminal) "villain" so to speak was just as rewarding as being good.
