Wrap me around your web strings  
of love as we swing across
the dark evening sky above
the city’s flickering lights
while I --
hang on to your red
and blue spandex
knowing that every
moment with you is
a worthy,
short-lived 
gamble;


a single cry
for help 
can take you
away from me


Ssshh~
Don’t speak.
Let not
our lips part ... 
Just for tonight, 
I will set you free 
from your eight-legged badge 
of responsibility

This is a cool little poem... I would say it is perfect, but if you meter it just a little more, it will be insane good... What a cool concept you created here. Do you write fiction also, or just poetry? Because I sense a little bit of story teller in you.. this piece had a lot of deep emotion for me in a small space.. Give it a try? Good job..
