The Reasons

believing my love

It has been too long hiding this pain
It has been too long walking in this rain
Teardrops are falling
With every step I am taking
Down on my this memory lane

She never understood, she never will
Grief of separation, not leaving me still
But it made my heart stronger than ever
Will forgive and forget her,
this time forever

It has been a dreadful past for me
Left heartbroken after loving somebody so dearly
But something I want to tell someone
Someone who is my everything, my everyone
She was my past, but you are present
Whom I want to spend time with, every emotion

Like an angel, you entered my life
Your aura is so heavenly divine
Cures my gloominess, my strife
I think you are just the perfect kind
I think you can be the best thing
That will ever be mine

Sadness of the whole day combine
Fades away just with her amazing smile
Talk to me, whatever is the day of time
Your companionship is what I desire to be mine

You are making me believe, I can give you my trust pearl
You are making me believe, You can be my right girl
You are making me believe, I can forget my past 
You are making me believe, I can take over the hurt, so vast

Your presence is so eccentric
Is doing wonders on me, no doubt
For once, a thought came in my mind
You can be my everlasting love
Whom I was searching from long about

I don't know if you feel the same way
Way I feel like by each passing day
Something is destined for us too
More than the words I want to portray
That’s why we met, along our life's crossway

Because I believe everything happens for a reason
A reason greater than anyone can see
I guess, this can rightly define the reason
The reason of her leaving me
And the reason of YOU finding me

I can relate to this fully. In fact, I wrote something similar. I enjoyed this poem and it's transition from heartbreak to fullfillment.
