In my dream, you were with me

My hands and heart full of love

You made me feel like forever

wouldn't be long enough

 

But now I'm in reality

My dream was just a myth

Though you claim to love me

I always feel like s**t

I had a dream that I was holding my boyfriend's hands, then obviously, I woke up empty-handed.

Dreams are meaningful in some way, usually. I used to be a strict dreamaholic and constantly looking up my dreams to find their meaning. Well the poem expresses exactly the meaning of the dream I would believe. I like the line "hands and heart full of love." Very expressive.

I hate my dreams, honestly. I really do. Occasionally I have dreams of being held, then I get this giant slap in the face when I wake up because, hurray, I'm alone. I feel for you here. Good job conveying your feelings, and I liked how short it was because it said a lot in so few words.

I have had dreams like this a lot. It sucks when you wake up. Its like I want to go back to sleep! Only thing is when you do most of the time you don't get the same dream. =/
