When love conquers all

I remember one summer we made a decree
As long as we have each other
We are forever free
Your presence washes over me
Your warm kiss
Puts a smile upon my face
Your warm touch
Eases all my pain
It exhilarates me
How you make me sane
Oh, how I long for you and your grace
I cannot wait to be in your embrace
To have your fingers rub softly against my face
My love...just know this relationship is deep
Deeper than the water at the edge of my feet
Just know my darling you could never be replaced
My light, my sun
Your radiance
Will always be within me
So, as your glory disappears right before my eyes
Tears shall fall until next time you arise.
