Madness

This is a poem inspired by the anime Soul Eater, but also inspired by a lot of emotional pain I have been going through recently.

I am no longer in control.

Underneath my skin

The blood is pumping through my veins

My DNA colliding with the foreign DNA

It's all over now

There is nothing left to do.

I am no longer in control.

For the fear I once had is gone.

The wretched pain,

Non-existent.

I won't think much longer.

Nor will I be able to feel.

I am no longer in control.

I have lost it all.

Family, six feet under.

Friends, forgotten.

Everyone else?

You better hope you don't cross my path. 

I will hurt you

And I won't be able to stop.

For you see,

I am no longer in control.

This madness is now 

In control.

It has taken over me

I have now become 

The madness itself.

Nothing left inside me but

Emptiness,

Pain; 

And a lust for blood,

For screams. 

This madness is now in control.

And I can't stop it.
