“Sans toi, les émotions d'aujourd'hui ne seraient que la peau morte des émotions d'autrefois.”*A Poem by Roy
A whim, a flippant dream,
My eyes have seen today, A redeemed me, on a shore, Watching the surfs at play: With your hand in mine, And Silence: eternal, blissful. Feels as if we’re here to stay. But we both know that our time is past. You should move on, and hence must I: ‘Tis but a fleeting minute for which Our worlds, drifting apart, Have come to rest, and say: “Adieu, my love from an unknown land. In this moment have we lived our lives; But all miracles, like grains of sand, Must in a moment slip away.” And yet, I know, Without you, Today’s emotions would be the scurf of yesterday. * © 2013 RoyAuthor's Note
