Acceptance

Acceptance

A Poem by Claire

As my fingers typed those words
All I could think of was whether I was doing the right thing,
As I placed my finger on the enter key,
It just wouldn't move,
It wouldn't press just one button,
As I finally just pressed the button,
A million thoughts went into my head,
What if you wont except me,
What if you wont want to be my friend anymore,
But stupid me,
Of course you would except me,
For there is no stronger bond then a best friend.
As I herd you say those words,
Don't worry it'll be okay,
It felt like a billion pounds had been lifted of my shoulder.

Oh this is beautiful. I love the way you keep going back to the thought of acceptance and then realizing that of course a real friend will always accept you. Good job!
