Free Us

Free Us

A Poem by Claire

Dear Bush,
And the war begins,
Not in Iraq or any other place around the world,
But right here,
In our homes,
In our towns,
Surrounding our lives,
Now it's the people, against you,
It may just be a wake up call for you,
But we, your people have been awake for quite a long time now,
Why must you give this country such a bad reputation?
Why must you deny us our rights?
Use all the money you want,
For my generation,
Will be the ones who pay the price,
For your war,
The war you started,
To keep the peace,
But you still haven't realized the damage you caused.
So give up your thrown,
Take off that crown,
Leave that white house,
And free us from your deadly rule,
Please Mr. President free us, all of us.
