Hollow Eyes

Hollow Eyes

A Poem by Claire

Hollow eyes
Aura of sadness
Gorgeous eyes
Hurt inside
Mysterious eyes
Crying inside

A smile worth more than gold
Barriers and walls trap feelings inside
A smile that causes my heart to race
A creative mind I long to know
A smile that lights up even the darkest of days
A gentle touch I wish to feel

A look that stops me in my tracks
Soft blond hair
A look that wakes my senses up
Pale skin
A look I wish to see everyday
Beauty beyond measure

Tears that burn through me like acid in my veins
A goddess
Tears I wish would never fall
Laid back
Tears that make my heart cry
I feel like I can fly

Knowing it can never be
So damn far away
But always in my sight
So damn far away
Yet close enough to fill my thoughts

Thanks. No it's an old poem. I wrote it like 2 years ago.

Do we love someone we can't have? Nice poem, good imagery.
