Actually Broken

I pretend that I'm fixed

I pretend that I'm fine

But really on the inside I'm dying

My heart has been hurt

My mind has been damaged

My soul has been destroyed

I'm not like a free bird

I'm like a caged animal in the zoo

Just  there to laugh and stare at

You know the truth though

I see it in your eyes

I know you're always there

But it feels like you're miles away

I know you're always there

But I dunno

I really don't
