Regular Guys

Regular guys,
They are so shy.
They keep their head down,
So often missing what's around.

Sure they lack in looks,
And read too many books.
But they have this way,
Of not being afraid.

They know who they are,
And don't try so hard.
Like the rest of us who fake it,
Trying to prove we're cool enough to make it.

We should all try and be regular guys,
And live for life's natural highs.
Learn to just be ourselves,
And leave impossible expectations on the shelves.
