You possess

Even describe you is difficult, so I will just express how I feel.

When the arch of rainbow seems so near

that its colors almost tinge your skin

when the endless ocean waves

caress unendingly your body lying on the soft beach

when that awaited dawn

ochre, red and crimson riotously flaunting

finally takes over sky´s vault

then, life seems to stop and a different time takes form

another dominion of reality is born

an ageless place of beauty and splendor

enveloping and encompassing all

equally happens with the everlasting effect of your fiery gorgeousness

afire yet also softly and perfectly drawn & formed

a feeling that you conjure up

which is YOURS always.

Unendingly? Forgetting that you just told the reader that this person is lying in the surf, dead, a trip to the beach will show you that wet sand isn't soft

Yup...dead. Time may seem to stop, but if life does, you're dead. Watch those metaphors.

The trick is to write from your chair, but always edit from that of a reader, who has none of your intent, so the meaning they take is what the words suggest, based on their background. It's not easy, but that's why they pay poets such great salaries. 🤣
