I Don't Know

How love can make you miserable

So here I am again

Sitting here writing

Thinking about you

Trying to find the words

So I don't sound like a fool

I was never jealous before we met

Now every time I see someone with you

My chest tightens

There's that pain again

Every time you walk by

My heart starts to beat again

"Great" I mutter

Here I go again

I try to ignore it

I don't want to feel like this

Sometimes I hate being human

But if I wasn't

I wouldn't have met you

But you wont notice.

And I don't want you to

Because if you did

I don't know what I would do

Not many people notice

When I need help

I never want to ask

I feel like a burden

Would you tell me different?

Or would you agree?

Here I am again

Sitting here writing

Thinking about you.

Would you ever be able to love me to?

Then reality hits.

I already know the answer

No

You wont ever be able to.

So I sit here and sigh

OK I've had enough

But no matter how hard I try to ignore it

I know it's still there.

Forever will I be

Writing down these things

Just to understand

Where the hell I'll be.

In this stone cold reality
