wow, i can feel the pain in this one.
but just so you know, sometimes girls feel a lot closer to the guy that they are "best friends" with than the guy that they are in a relationship with.
many guys think that they are going to ruin a good friend ship if they tell the girl that they have feelings for them but thats not always true.
i think you should tell her how you feel. girls would rather know the truth than have you hide your feelings and than find out years later. she may have the same feelings for you. and if she doesn't, that doesn't mean she wont still want you as a best friend, but at least she will know. just my opinion. great poem though! i think this is a very romantically tragic subject.
