Faceless

Faceless

A Poem by potato

They don't see me,
They wont see me,
They cant see me.
I am faceless.
I quietly sit
All alone in the corner,
Like a toy,
Left to collect dust
After years of play.
I am faceless.
I was your favorite,
You chose me,
Over everyone else,
You played with me,
Told me you'd never let me go.
I am faceless.
You lied,
Promised me false hope,
then threw me out
Like trash.
So,
I am now,
And forever will be,
Faceless.

Love this! Very well written and relatable, sometimes being faceless is a reprieve but when you feel like you been abandoned its the worst emotion!

I like the honest thoughts and visions create by the poetry.
"And forever will be,
Faceless."
Easy to be faceless. Sometime a safe place to be. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
