Couplets

sometimes,
when I'm right next to you
or even when I'm not...

there's this catch
in back of my throat
that feels tight as a knot...

it almost strangles,
for sure it steals my breath
from within.

growing, strengthening,
making my mind reel
and my head spin.

I know it is
'cause I love you
so much it overwhelms.

I know it is
'cause I can not
get closer to your realm

of existence;
of thought;
of being another being.

I try, but
even the
synchronicity is fleeting.

my mended heart,
my tortured mind,
my very depth of soul;

without your touch
without you presence,
never to feel whole.

I die within my love
for you --
phoenix with every breath.

endless are these
emotions, they
exist beyond our death.

to hold you,
to behold you,
to never be free again.

I'm excited to see
where we'll take
this run-away train.

Really enjoyed this piece .. Beautiful description of those emotions.
A love that you just cant get close enough to and its scary that you can't b/c you're afraid they wont be there for long.

I die within my love
for you --
phoenix with every breath. PHOENIX WITH EVERY BREATH .. what a fantastic image!

endless are these
emotions, they
exist beyond our death.

the only thing i don't care for are the last 3 lines... I feel that the rhyme is broken and you could ( maybe b/c I hate trying to rhyme train and again in my head ( I read it as A-GEN.. and i know you mean AGANE hehe) .. Great stuff though.
