Dialogue

This came to me one night, when I couldn't get on the net. It accidentally fits the Words Group assignment 1.

He tells me he's scared
Staring at me.
He asks why I cry
Taking a puff.
He says I'm more impatient now
Pausing. Taking in my actions.

Then I say, are you going to eat that?
Looking at him.
Knowing food would change the subject.

Then I say to myself.
What is he scared of?
Observing him going for the curry.
Then I ask myself,
Why DO I cry?
Noticing him drifting off.
Then I tell myself
I'm impatient for the times we're apart.

I understand this from outside of the feeling if that makes any sense.

I really like the way you string words together. It's very original. The final line is nicely phrased and placed. It leaves the poem with a wonderful final tone.
