Atonement

Atonement

A Story by Zi

I’m not sure how much you know about Jewish traditions, but we’re coming up on that time of year when we’re supposed to make a special effort to try and make amends. It is said that on Rosh Hashanah it is written and on Yom Kippur it is sealed; that my actions today directly influence my fate tomorrow.  It is said that for transgressions against god, god will forgive, but for transgressions against man, only man can forgive. So I ask of you, my friends, to forgive me for any wrongdoing on my part. Whether it was something I did, or something I said, whether it was to you, or about you, whether I meant to, or not, I am sorry.
