We write books on ghost

As children love ghost story

We are selling fear

I think it is an interesting perspective that ghost stories is selling fear. I think it is positive to write about fear because it gives people strength to overcome their fears.

I love your logic in favor of positive aspect of ghost story.
If it is the sole purpose of ghost story,then it sounds good.
But,I have observed that writers with science background engage themselves in selling ghost story ignoring scientific materials just for quick money.
I am worried, the children who read them will miss the message of prevailing or emerging scientific achievements.

The fear or the surprise factor has always been around in storytelling. Many more of the older stories taught a moral with the telling of the tale.
