A firefly became the moon

She captured a firefly tonight
It looked very cool and bright

The firefly was not happy
It tried hard to be free

It did not want any fight
But,moved left and right

It became successful soon
It flew to the sky to be the moon

This is brilliant! And yet so simple! I'm amazed at your ability to make something so simple into a poem that brings back memories of me and my friends catching fireflies :) but now I feel a bit guilty because u never thought about the fire fly haha well done an amazing read :)

I enjoy an imaginative world where fireflies dance around us with cool
light allowing us to remember our sportive life in the past.
We can still help the fireflies glow happily by simply keeping their habitat safe.

iN THE SUMMER HERE ABOUT JULY i THINK DEAD OF SUMMER . THEY LAST A COUPLE WEEKS AND COVER AS FAR AS YOU CAN SEE. EVERY NIGHT THEY LIGHT THE FEILDS AND THE CHILDREN CHASE AFTER THEM TO KEEP THEM IN A JAR THEY CAN ONLY LIVE A FEW DAYS THAT WAY BUT THE CHILDREN TAKE THEM IN THEIR BEDROOMS AND THEY LIGHT UP ALL NIGHT NOT ALL BUT A FEW CHILDREN ONES LIKE ME LOL

they glow a second then stop a few and do it again they can keep it up all night It is the female of the species that is how she attracts a mate i have no trouble sleeping as a child it was kinda neat
