New Year

Another new year begins
I wonder what it means

The first minute howls with fireworks
Fear creeps as bites of sharks
Sounds of blasts kill sweet melodies
Mad dancers mock fine qualities

The first day triggers best hopes
Strange feelings act like strong dopes
Good and bad events unfold with time
Some bring smile, some sad chime

Dreams of good days grow forever
Life moves on with changing flavor
Sighs and tears cast gloom now and then
Constant struggle makes people insane

I wish for a perfect new year
When happiness will prevail without fear
