Silence

Silence seems to be gold
One should not be very bold
The world loves a dumb
It may be wise to remain calm

What else a humble person can do
When selfish people worship ego
Ignoring the call of humanity
They defy  vows and responsibility

It may be an offense to keep quiet
In the case of violation of human right
Tricks of players of the game of fortune
Thwart the good people to lament soon

Opportunists embrace stooge but ignore wise person
They can't stand opponents with noble mission

This is powerfully accurate and a cry for help in humanity. You worded it so well, I couldn't think of any way to say it better! When the wise stay quiet and let the fools run the show, humanity suffers. But this is so often the case, and the silence needs to be broken if we want to see change. Very powerful poem, definitely thought-provoking!

Woow I never knew a person would feel that way. Your poem really showed the meaning that truth has to be heard and stand up. i really liked it. it kinda reminded of my father. He always was a coward in so many ways that even I wanted to make him stand out.

There is much truth in your last line:

People with noble missions are often conspired at and killed. This world is full of darkness, the same way it is made beautiful. Your piece is very thought-provoking and the structure of the poem is great. :)
