If only I could...

A little longer this time. I guess it's prose.

If only I could impress upon you,

The feelings that burn deep within my soul.

You are my heart, my soul, my muse, my love.

 

If only I could borrow a minute,

I might assist you in understanding,

The conflict that threatens to end my life.

 

If only I could let my self be free,

Of the shackles that tie me to you,

Unbreakable bonds of true devotion.

 

If only I could give you just one kiss,

And transfer the passion from me to you,

Boiling your blood, Stealing just one breath.

 

If only I could learn how to be brave,

so I coulf fulfill every single if,

and never falter on the path I tread.
