Babbling in type form

I sit here thinking of something to write

My mind is blank, I have nothing to say

Writer's block is the disease of conscience

Do I write about feelings in my heart

Sonnets or ancient Japanese poems

Anecdotes interesting and funny

There are the secretsof the universe

I could pen a short story about death

Articles about the physical laws

The restraints that govern us every day

President Elect Barack Obama

The one known as Still-President George Bush

Just saw the creepiest thing on TV

Iambic pentameter limits me

I just can't stop writing no matter what

Oops, I just ran out of things to describe

You express the frustrations of many a poet, I'm sure. I like the varied subjects you include, from sonnets to physics.The flow is easy, and I especially like the last three lines. Just one very minor critique--shouldn't it be "There are (not "there's") the mysteries of the universe"? Good job--thanks for writing this!
