How I am

Don't ask me, you just wont understand. Please don't ask me how I am.

I could tell you how I feel,

But you wouldn't understand, 

I could tell you all my secrets,

But you wouldn't fully care,

If I gave you my promises,

No matter how long it takes,

Will you forgive my darkness and my mistakes,

Just don't ask me how I am,

When it's raining from the heavens,

I'll cry all day,

Maybe I'll even stand in the rain,

Just don't ask me how I am,

I'll put on a smile for you everyday,

Give you the moments I don't hide myself away,

To be honest I'd rather cry all day,

I'm lonely and I'm breaking,

But you can't see the pain,

so I'm begging you,

Praying for you,

Just don't ask me,

how I am.

This poem has a nice length and flow to it which I always enjoy. I love the angst and heart break that's in it and the understanding that it is sometimes hard to describe that feeling so sometimes it is easier for someone not to ask. Or at least that's what i felt reading this piece; like paintings I feel poems are up for interpretation. I will definitely read more from Belle later.

I wonder how many people care what we truly feel? Many people hide and don't want to be found. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I really like your peice. I like how its a sadder peice because alot of people tell me to write less sad stuff but i know it doesnt work like that. Your peice is awesome its really emotional ansd its how people feel really.
