Beautiful reality in your poem; "This day." Do we identify with this day dying? Do we identify with where we will go? As all things die so must we. Are we awake to the clues within the natural world? More death always springs forth. Jesus christ is still the Messiah and maker of all. Jesus died so long ago that we could have life and that more abundantly.

Hi Kathy,
Yes, I guess this poem brings up a lot of thoughts, it was thinking that brought the poem about. I think I did identify with the dying of the day, as it could be said that we all are dying, all the time, in that we are mortal and only have a certain amount of time to live in this world. As for what happens after we die, I do not know.
