I would yearn for it to be a blessing 
But its a curse that haunts, immensely 
A vexation that oddly brings a smile 

It's an obsession that elates me 
Even if it's entirely betraying 
And its constant, equal to a sundial 

It's a heavenly star I can never capture 
Like a delusion from a cranial fracture 
It views delicious, but the taste is ever bile
