Welcome.

It's cold here,
I hope you don't mind.
We don't get much sun,
nor much wind.
Nor really anything but clouds.

I hope you understand,
Our roads are always slick,
the snow never melts.
Spring never comes,
the seasons don't bring change,
they're only dates here.

We don't have much to do,
other than tend the fires.
We all order the wood by mail.
So don't bother coming outside.

Nobody ever comes outside.
Don't feel lonely.

Thanks for your visit.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
