kaleidoscope windows
rainbows in your eyes
blue drowned out by hues of happiness
dulled by your smile
clouds of voices
rain beats heavy on this tin roof
but your laugh sings to me
while your voice seems to hum along
in perfect rhythm

So many colors about this world of glass
time goes by but never seems to pass
slow motion under beads of light
the way you breathe and the beat of your heart at night

even when the sun doesn't shine
rainbows fall in the depths of my mind
captivated by your light
