within a  window i stare

looking upon blonde hair

eyes different

skin pale

emotions hidden behind a vail

sadness, confusion

all i see

do you know the person looking back at me?

intertwined in memories

the face looks so vague to me

tears hit the floor

emotions ready to be explored

she looks at her self once more

wipes the tears away

and fades

all i see

do you know the person staring back at me?

the sudden drop of the brush

the shocking rush

at this moment i realize

i was only looking into my own eyes

the window to my soul

a place i do not truly know

i step away from the mirror

i fall to the ground

i do not make a sound

in silence i shall sit

until that moment

when i see the person staring back at me

is me
