dark vs. light

emptiness of the mind

starvation of the soul

weakness within every goal

frustration burns within your skin

heat and passion become dim

dark is the only reflection

light its one connection

decision turned by temptation

a feeling of guilt, or sensation

words become accusation

tongue tinged with devils infatuation

blood turns hot as embers

thoughts of light no longer simmer

sight of hope becomes all the more dim

decisions upon temptation

burn the soul with exasperation

hope of light falls near

only stopped by your fear
