forever gone

my heart aches with a pain

that to you i could never explain

i loved, but now wish upon this loss

i want you to be a distant thought

my dreams haunt me, taunt me with your love

i throw back my head and look above,

beyond to the future

i shall not stand this torture

i fall back into my dreams

tears fulfilled by your company

forever gone is what i wish you to be

so i may have a beautiful sleep
