people are blinded by love

masked by hopes and dreams

and fail to see the truth others see

the light of truth slowly fades

into the dark shadows no reminents of grey

blackness fills the soul

love remains unknown

and not a single light,

not even a star shall ever shine so bright

twinkling taunting every desire

the hope of love lights the eternal fire

but lies burn more feirce

flames conquering the slightest fear
