cattails

the wind lightly blows

on a cool summers eve

the sun shines lightly upon the trunk of the trees

birds soar over head

the water glistens

through your eyes feeling said

the grass so green

the sky coated in pastel shades

as the sun fades to grey

crickets come to the water

humb their night time song

and before you know it daytime is gone

the stars shine brightly in the sky

lightning the path of a lovers night

the sun sets and rises again and again

we remain hand in hand

among the water, in the grass

watchin the wind sway the cattails,

and making summer time last
