Effects of Dopamine

Effects of Dopamine

A Poem by Lusus Naturae

The river is watered paint,

Torpid and valiant waves,

Sitting among the paved,

And I feel I might faint;

Fall onto your chest,

“Oh take me now,

I’m such a mess,

I wonder how?”

You merely smile,

A smile of adoration,

“Maybe after awhile”,

But there isn’t much fixation;

Glare at the specked trees,

The cigar you smoke,

On beautiful days as these,

The sappy words you spoke;

“Slow,” You say,

“Slow like honey.”

But my organs might jump away,

Out like little bunnies!
