Hello, my name is Grant King, advertising copywriter and novel writer in equal measure. I have two published novels, one of which is still pottering away on Amazon, the other very recently self-published, and a book I'm extremely proud of. It's called Nothing but Animals, an ever so slightly black comedy focussing on animal activism in the North Yorkshire countryside. While I am confident an enthusiastic publisher would not have been hard to find, I have had a burning desire to make some sort of difference to the animal cause, and this book's theme made it an ideal vehicle. Hence my brand new website www.grantkingfiction.com where half the proceeds of every sale go to the World Society for Protection of Animals (WSPA). Very early days I must say - I need to pull finger and promote the thing! But everyone believes in the book and considers it a work of international standard, so it should only be a matter of time, energy, luck and whatever else it takes to get noticed in cyberspace.
