About Me

Alaska born and breed with many passions, dreams and desires. I am not a professional writer, just a mother, wife and friend to many. Additionally I am bombarded with my mind that has a multitude of words, phrases and thoughts that constantly pass through my cranium never finding their way onto paper or via todays technology the computer. In memory of my friend Dale's passing; a member of Writers Cafe for many years; I have challenged myself to share as he encouraged me many times in the past to do so. So........here we go!

My gracious thanks to you J. Krishnamarti for taking the time to send word of such comfort in our time of sorrow. As you are now aware, Dale was not only a great writer, but also an awesome friend. He would have given his life for anyone in his group of friends. Dale was a giver in every description of the word. He would give, give and give. He ended up living and then dying right up to the end for what he believed in...giving; true love. Thank you for your comments. I will hold them dear to my heart and most likely read them every day for quite some time. The void left behind is vast; yet as you mentioned His love is forever there comforting and casting a helpful hand to rise up and continue to do what God has for us to do. That is what Dale would want. I stood on the back deck night before last and just looked up at the sky; tears freezing down my face and found myself talking to the stars. It was without thinking; it just happened. The world troubles me, and yet I know the worries of the world are only mended by individual acts of kindness. To do something every day that makes a difference no matter how big no matter how small. Somehow that kindness and love will come full circle as your letter as come to me. I cannot thank you enough for putting your thoughts (on computer) would love to say paper. Thank you; our world has truly been transformed and nothing will be the same.

To love is the greatest thing in life; it is very important to talk about love, to feel it, to nourish it, to treasure it, otherwise it will soon be dissipated, for the world is very brutal. If while you are young you don't feel love, if you don't look with love at people, at animals, at flowers, when you grow up you find that your life is empty; you will be very lonely, and the dark shadows of fear will follow you always. But the moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.
