I am an amateur writer who has a healthy appetite for the written word. I started writing poetry at the age of 11 and still continue to write poetry. Writing has always been my calm from the storm, my safe haven. I started writing a novel last year and a few short stories. Like I'm sure most new writers, I became overran with the what ifs. What if I'm not good enough, what if nobody likes my stories, etc. I have recently decided to pull my big girl panties back out of the drawer and see what happens.
