I've been writing poetry since I was about twelve. I feel it's a way to escape the "real world". It also lets me express myself the way I want to and I can write it down so I have memories. I've recently started taking photo's, which to me is my poetry away from poetry. When I'm not writing I'm taking photo's, poetry is just words but photography is photo's of my thoughts...if that even makes sense lol!
